"One Of These Nights" (Hangul: 7월 7일; Romanization: 7wol 7il) is a song recorded by Red Velvet. It is the first track and is also used as the title track in their second mini-album The Velvet. The mini-album also shares a De-Capo version, a Joe Millionaire version and a piano version of the track. The single is described as an R&B ballad with a polished rhythm.
The song was also described by the members to be inspired by the Korean festival Chilseok, which is celebrated on the seventh the day of the seventh month ("7월7일"). The original tale tells the story of lovers Jiknyeo and Gyeonwu, who were separated by the heavenly king and only allowed to meet on the seventh day of the seventh month of the lunar calendar, but still were unable to because they could not cross the Milky Way.
The music video gives off a vibe similar to the music video of their song "Automatic" with its transitions and dream-like scenes. The members' styling appears to be inspired by classic Disney princesses, with Irene as Snow White, Yeri as Sleeping Beauty and Wendy as Ariel.
The group began promotions of this single on March 17, 2016, on Mnet's music program M Countdown along with another track entitled Cool Hot Sweet Love.
